I
got called fat on YouTube'
Kimberley
Dayle, 25, from North London, had liposuction in April 2009.
Logging
on to look at my latest video on YouTube, I couldn't help noticing the
comment someone had posted below. 'She's really good but she's too fat,'
they'd written. It hurt. I'd started out as a session sin
ger, but soon everyone was saying how much I looked like Britney Spears.
So
I dyed my red hair blonde, transformed my wardrobe and soon I was a
fully-fledged Britney impersonator. I got paid up to£5000 per month, and loved being flown to different concerts and awards shows around the
world.
I followed a strict diet and exercise regime to keep my
weight at eight stone and a dress size 6.
But in 2007, when Britney
went into meltdown, so did my career.
Bookings tumbled after she
shaved her head, and I struggled to get by. To save money I cancelle
d my gym membership, but I was comfort eating as well. Without performing every night I piled on the pounds - and I wasn't the only one to
notice.
In December 2008 Britney finally announced plans for a comeback
tour and the phone started ringing again, but I was totally unprepared.
While Britney was back to her toned best, I'd pudged up to l0st 121b and I
a size 12. 1 needed to lose weight - and fast!
I cut out carbs, but
it 'wasn't having fast enough results. I tried diet pills, I
even surviving mainly on I apples and salad, but I knew I couldn't keep it
up.
As a dancer and performer I needed to be skinny - but I also
needed stamina. That's when I started thinking about plastic surgery.
I
decided to go for surgery in Tunisia, where it would be cheaper, and in
April 2009 I opted for liposuction at a price of £2500.
In all the
surgeon sucked out six litres of fat from my tummy, bottom, stomach, hips,
back, inner and outer thighs and knees.
I'd even given him a
picture of . Britney so that he'd get the contours just right.
I
woke up in terrible pain after the operation, but it was worth it. I had to wear a girdle for two weeks to help my skin settle into place, but soon
my weight had dropped to 8st 101b and I could fit into size-8 clothes.
After
that my career moved up to another level.
I've since toured many
countries; including America, Australia and India, and I know my success
has been down to the surgery.
These days I perform as a Lady Gaga
impersonator as well, so I'm even more fixated on my figure.
I'm
very proud to be a contestant in Miss Cosmetic Surgery Transformation UK
and if I were to win I'd have either a bum lift or a breast reduction. www.ladygagatributeshow.com www.britneylookalike.com

'I
was terrified of my partner seeing me naked'
Amie Dumbarton, 27 from Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, had
a breast uplift in November 2010.
Staring at myself in the
changing room mirror, I started to cry.
I'd wanted to treat myself
to a maxi dress for my birthday, but my saggy boobs looked awful in every
outfit.
I headed home, depressed and humiliated. Before having my Jamie, nine, and Lucy-May, two, I'd loved my curvy size 14 figure,
but my boobs now sagged down to my knees.
I'd gone from being the life and soul of the party to hiding away at home. Even taking the children swimming
was an ordeal. I'd cross my arms over my droopy chest, convinced pe
ople were laughing at me.
And my sex life with my partner Richard,
36, was nonexistent. The thought of him seeing me naked terrified me.
I
hoped I'd qualify for breast uplift surgery on the NHS, but when I saw a
consultant in March 2009 he said I didn't meet the full criteria.
Finally
my dad gave me £3000 towards the operation, and I found a surgeon in
Tunisia who'd do it for that amount. I had my boobs reduced
from 36FF to a 34DD. The first thing Richard said was: 'Wow!'
Since
I had the operation in November I feel I've got the old me back. I
love dressing up to go out and our sex life has been given a massive
boost.
My new-found confidence meant that when I heard about Miss
Cosmetic Surgery Transformation UK, I jumped at the chance to enter.
If
I won I could have a tummy tuck and liposuction on my thighs. Its a great
opportunity.

'I'm
loving my moment in the limelight'
Jeanette Knight, 50, from Basingstoke, Hampshire, had an upper and
lower eye lift, chin lift, neck lift and liposuction on her neck in
September 2010.
Carefully applying my makeup I noticed yet
another new wrinkle. As I took in my droopy eyelids and jowly neck, t
ears pricked my eyes. What's the point in buying clothes to show of
f my new figure if my face looks so awful? I wailed to my husband P
ete, 55.
By doing aerobics and cutting out fatty foods I'd gone from I2st 91b and a dress size 22 to 9st 31b and a size 12 on top and 6 on the bottom.
But as my body became more toned, the skin around my face became less
taut.
I started researching surgery and was put in touch with a
reputable surgeon in Budapest via a UK website. He I suggested I have
eye rejuvenation work, a facelift and work on my neck. At £500
0 the cost was less than half the UK price.
After the surgery I had
very little pain and could see the difference within days. My husband Pete and son Ryan, 27, think I look great and I have so much more
confidence.
Now
I'm really excited about the beauty pageant on 9 April. I'm loving my
moment in the limelight!
If I win I'd like to have derma fillers in
my face. And I'd certainly consider having another facelift in the future.
