The Gem of the brand - Malta in the Mediterranean
|
Slowly
but surely I have been beavering away trying to get this option ready for
2013. Some of you may remember I tried Malta as an option for cosmetic
surgery in 2007, but things didn't come together to my satisfaction, so I
scrapped the idea. Then of course the recession came and went and it
was time for a re-think.
It goes without saying that Malta has everything you need, from the weather, English speaking people, lovely big
general hospital with some English staff and some amazing hotels to stay
in.
All I needed were fantastic surgeons that can sculpt you to
perfection. So I have a surgeon from Paris who is a facial expert an
d he will be visiting Malta on a regular basis to carry out surgery. See
some of his work here and judge the
results for yourself.
And with the Arab Spring causing a few
problems in other Mediterranean destinations, I decided to ask our best
breast surgeon if he would register to work in Malta and he agreed, so he
will offer surgery in Paris, Malta and Tunis. There may be other surgeons in the future, but these are a good start.
In most cases we
can offer a consultation in our Harley Street consulting rooms, and you
will able to see more details as they become available in this section
of the web site There is also a price
list here
Some
years ago I predicted that North Africa was the new South Africa for
cosmetic surgery and we sent 1000s of patients there over the years. Now
I am saying that Malta will be the next exciting new destination for
Medical tourism . I am the only one with these surgeons working in Malta so let your friends know and contact me on face book and follow me on
Twitter for more information. Malta

Seneca Productions are making a new documentary for
Channel 4 about portraiture and identity with the artist Grayson Perry.
By
spending time with a variety of individuals, families and groups, and then by
making portraits of them, Grayson hopes to explore what makes up a modern
British identity.
In the episode focusing on individuals, we would like to
explore cosmetic surgery and how this change to appearance shapes what people
feel about themselves and how other people perceive them. In particular, we are
looking to feature an individual who is contemplating a facelift/facial surgery
and who would be interested in spending time with Grayson before and after the
surgery to discuss their ideas on how they have shaped their identity. At the
end of his time with the individual Grayson will then create a portrait which
will form part of an exhibition which we hope will tour major art galleries
around Britain. If you are interested in finding out more about the series or
know someone who might be suitable, please get in touch: 0207 324 6087 or lauravaughan@senecaproductions.com
