'I had been thinking about a facelift for several years - I felt I was looking older and more tired looking than I should - but kept putting off doing anything about it as I was not confident that I could choose a good surgeon. I had looked at having this done at home, but really the prices charged by highly recommended were exorbitant and not within my budget! Then my son announced that he and his fiancee were getting married the following year and so this made my mind up for me - now or never!! Linda Briggs was suggested to me by a couple of friends and work colleagues as giving the best advice and so I took the plunge. She told me that she was going to Budapest later in the year for a facelift - and so I thought if that particular surgeon was Linda's choice then he was certainly the one for me! From the photos I had to send he gave me a very honest opinion as to what he felt I needed, and also dissuaded me from a couple of procedures I thought I might need - this I really appreciated and it gave me even more confidence to go ahead. Everything was arranged for me - a lovely newly renovated small apartment equipped with everything including good Wifi (essential) - an English speaking driver waiting for me at the airport and Carolyn meeting me at the apartment to go through the programme for the next few days. The pre-surgery tests were arranged for the next morning and then I had the rest of the day free to go to the supermarket and wander around Budapest which is a beautiful city. The following morning I was taken to the clinic and shown to my room. The surgeon came to meet me and to discuss the surgery and to answer any questions. He is a lovely man, very down to earth, very reassuring and very professional. I immediately felt I was in very good hands! The Anaesthetist then visited me and went through my whole health history and again I felt I was in very safe hands. Obviously I was still a little nervous, but everything seemed to move so quickly - I received a pre-med which actually sent me into a half-conscious dreamlike state (very relaxing) - I don't remember much after that and it seemed that the next thing I knew I was back in my bed - everything done!
The next morning the dressings were changed, the drain removed, new dressings put on and the special compression head support thing that I had to wear for 4 days - it was tight but I soon got used to it and it didn't stop me from going out and about in the city. With a big shawl and sunglasses, I actually felt quite glamorous (and didn't look as if I had just had a facelift)! There was no pain after the op - just some tightness - and I didn't even need to use the painkillers the clinic gave me before I left. I slept for most of the day I was taken back to the apartment - but the next day I was out in the city doing some sightseeing - which I never thought would be possible!
Knowing that there was always someone I could call at any time, and who called in to me regularly, was the icing on the cake - I didn't feel alone. Linda's organisation is superb in every way - and I could not be happier. 3 months have passed since the surgery - I had been told that the final results would not be seen for up to 12 months - however even after one week I could see the difference - and the improvements continue week by week. The wedding is in a few months and I cannot wait - I now have the confidence to be the perfect Mother of the Bridegroom!

'This is my second tummy tuck - the first one in another country was not good and left me with really bad uneven scarring. Before coming over here to Budapest I was told by the surgeon Linda referred me to that although he could make an improvement he could not make it all perfect. I still came though as I really felt that any improvement was better than what I was having to live with.
All I can say is that already I can see not just a small improvement - but a huge one - the incision line is now straight - the loose skin that I had been left with after the previous op has been removed - and I cannot tell you what a difference this surgeon has made - I was so happy when he showed me what had been done that when I got up off the examination table I kissed him!!! Linda said he was good - I say he is brilliant! I want to thank everyone - the surgeon, the very kind nurses, Carolyn as she made everything so easy before I came here - and has been such a reassuring presence throughout my stay in Budapest - and of course Linda who gave me such good and helpful advice.

'Contacting Linda Briggs was the best decision I could possibly have made in regard to cosmetic surgery. Her comprehensive knowledge and experience are demonstrated by the comprehensive information found on her website. I found her easy to talk to - sympathetic and helpful and she pointed me in exactly the right direction for my particular needs. All the details and help that I needed - and more besides - to organise my visit were provided by the Budapest office - and Carolyn went out of her way to make sure that everything was well organised and in place for my trip. The surgeon was totally professional - honest in his opinion - gentle and caring - and the results of my surgery are impressive! I could not have asked for better treatment from everyone involved in this - and as a bonus I enjoyed a relaxing and very enjoyable stay in Budapest - a truly beautiful and inspiring city! What I also liked was the anonymity. I travelled alone and did not find this daunting in any way - and I enjoyed the time I had to myself to rest and recover before my return home. 'I had been considering eyelid surgery for 3 or 4 years, as I felt that my drooping and baggy eyelids made me look tired and older than I felt inside - and certainly older looking than some of my contemporaries at work. Being a guy I was apprehensive about surgery, and hadn't a clue how to go about finding a surgeon. I looked online and found Linda Briggs - gave her a call - and she reassuringly told me that many men these days have cosmetic surgery - mainly to keep a competitive edge in the workplace where youthful looks are king! She suggested a good surgeon in Budapest, and as I had visited the city for a mini break,and liked it very much, I decided this would be a good place to go. She forwarded my details to the Budapest office, and Carolyn contacted me and gave me all the necessary info. I had to supply photos which the surgeon looked at and said that yes I was a good candidate for the surgery and that it would make a very good improvement to my appearance - great news! I booked my flights - a very well fitted out small apartment was booked for me and a driver was waiting for me at the airport - very nice guy and English speaking too! The surgery was painless after I had the local anaesthesia (was worried about this but needn't have been as they gave me a premed sedative which almost sent me to sleep - op was over and I slept for a couple of hours - and was then able to return to my apartment - all good. A bit bruised and swollen for a few days but no pain - just looked as if I had been t in the boxing for a few rounds! Day after op went out with my sunglasses on - found some great places (no alcohol allowed so I was told) to eat and drink and made the most of my cosmetic surgery 'holiday'. The surgeon told me that eyelid correction surgery is one of his favourite ops, because it can make such a big difference to the face - which it certainly did to me (once I had healed). I had the sutures (one long running stitch top and bottom - very thin) removed on the 6th day - didn't feel it - and then I was picked up by the driver and taken back to the airport - job done! Very happy with my younger looking self, the surgeon and his expertise, and Linda for sending me off to Budapest with old baggy eyelids but returning with no bags and a spring in my step!
