A MESSAGE FROM LINDA BRIGGS

Since the start of the Covid-19 virus situation we have been inundated with enquiries from patients who had booked their dental treatments and cosmetic surgeries here in Budapest - asking when we thought it might be possible to rebook.  Earlier last year we had no idea that things would escalate as they did, and the restrictions put in place would be so severe.  As the weeks and months passed, we were optimistic that by autumn of 2020 these restrictions would be eased; however this did not happen - in fact the situation in Hungary and the neighbouring countries became much worse.  At the moment Hungary is still under lockdown/curfew and that several European countries, including Hungary, are banning flights from the UK.

The vaccination of healthcare workers and others at high risks started straight after Christmas - and the plan is for all those wishing to take the vaccine to receive it during 2021.  We are hoping that this, together with the vaccination programme in the UK and  the rest of  Europe,  will enable borders to open and for patients (and tourists) to once again enter Hungary.
